Japan Cave, Gringsing Central Java Indonesia

Sakalputung pathway, known Plelen Alas Roban has a million mystery. The path is a silent witness peonage Dutch colonial period. Until now, many mysteries that are stored in Alas Roban to many people consider it haunted.

Behind the fact that, apparently Alas Roban save incision history of the struggle of the Indonesian nation. (Coordinates -6.978079,110.012138) Many relics that exist in this area. One of them is Goa Heritage Japan in the hamlet village roundabout Plelen Gringsing subdistrict. In addition to the Netherlands to open access Jakarta to Surabaya's passing Alas Roban, Japan secretly make hiding behind a hill located in the south lane made the Netherlands.

Japanese built Cave has characteristics similar to cave in sub Subah. From the observation team, cave Japan made more than 10 mouth of the cave, usually only one that really be the main cave which can accommodate several armored vehicles and dozens of soldiers. While other cave mouth depth only about 5 to 20 meters which serves to fool.

Japan Cave Alas Roban numbered 1 main artificial cave mouth, 12 mouth artificial cave with a depth of 5-20 meters, 1 mouth of the cave that is not yet finished and the first cave that exist because of natural processes. Everything was used Japanese to hide.

In the main cave can accommodate about 8 tanks (war vehicles) at the time. Deeper than 30 meters. No one has been able to map the state of the cave because of limited human resources and tools.

Conditions in some cave concern, many non-organic waste scattered and some mouth of the cave began to landslides due to soil erosion.

Previously, this cave is built by using the lives of local people of Indonesia. But this time no one wants to take care of him and reuse. Hopefully this place used for public activities that are not in vain. This cave is a historic site where the Japanese in Indonesia, which can describe the current struggle of the Indonesian nation.
